An online writing accountability group is for you if you know that you should be getting writing done, but for whatever reason, it’s just not happening. Maybe you say things like, “I’m not a writer, but I know that having a book or blog content would help my business.” Perhaps you find yourself stuck even though you already know the benefits of having a blog or a book with your name on it:
- Added credibility
- Invitations to media appearances
- Speaking engagements
- Greater visibility for your business
- More leads
- Better leads
- Increased bottom line
Writing to promote your business
You know all the reasons why you should be writing a book or blog posts or both. But it sounds painful, and you don’t have time. You have a business to run and a life to live.
Maybe time isn’t your biggest hurdle. Maybe you just don’t know where to start. There are thousands of resources out there, but you don’t know which one to trust or which steps to take. So you don’t make any progress because you can’t get going on your own.
Either way, that’s okay! You’re in the right place because what I do is meet you where you are, take you by the hand, and walk you through the process of writing for your business. I’ll help you carve out time in your schedule for writing and help you know exactly what to write each time you sit down. No more writer’s block!
Why group coaching?
Some people love one-on-one coaching, and that is available, but others prefer group coaching. It is more affordable and more social, and it comes with lower pressure and cost. Some of my clients told me that one-on-one coaching could feel like too much pressure on them, but group coaching has the balance they need.
My name is Jennifer Harshman, and I’ve been helping people with their writing for most of my life. Podcasters, coaches, teachers, librarians, business owners, and authors have come to me to help them overcome problems and produce more and better writing for their businesses.
As a freelance editor for several publishers and dozens of independent authors, in the last 10 years, I’ve edited more than 200 books and countless blog posts and articles. See a few of them at Books Edited by Jennifer Harshman. I’ve also done business writing coaching for people who know all the reasons they should be writing, but they just aren’t writing.

To make sure everyone gets what they need, we keep each group small. Each group meets weekly on Zoom for an hour. If you can make it to every call, great. If not, no worries—sometimes life and work interfere. Just catch us next time.
The program is ongoing rather than a finite, “six weeks and it’s over” kind of thing. Members get access to it for as long as they want it.
When asked what the value of such a resource is, the answer that people gave most was “five hundred dollars a month.” It’s not that much, though. That’s what I charge for a session of one-on-one coaching. The goal is to help more people, so the group-coaching programs have a smaller price tag: $100/mo. For information on a higher level, talk to Jennifer after you sign up.
