Here, you’ll find some of great resources for entrepreneurs. These are some of my favorites. Note that this page does contain affiliate links to things I love and would recommend regardless of any benefit to me. Most of the links are to things I have recommended since long before the owners created an affiliate program. I will add more resources for entrepreneurs to this page over time, so please bookmark it and come back.
Resources for entrepreneurs who want to serve an audience
Platform Launchers is for anyone who wants to serve an audience of some kind. This includes coaches, public speakers, subject-matter experts, pastors and other leaders, and more. Inside, you’ll find courses, recordings, documents, and all kinds of resources for entrepreneurs like you. We meet once a week on Zoom, and we get to be part of a podcast that is recorded in front of a live audience (us)! If you can’t make it to any given call (or any of the calls), that’s totally fine. Just catch the replay (the recording of the call).
Platform Launchers is led by one of the most successful podcasters in the world, Pastor John Stange. As the host of not one but four different podcasts, he recently inked a hefty monetization deal. That contract alone brings him more in a month than many people earn in a year. He did not seek out any advertising. People came to him because he makes his shows so good and has built them from nothing to tens of thousands of downloads per episode.
As if that were not enough, Pastor John Stange is also the author of not one but more than 30 books, including Dwell on These Things.
He is a best-selling author, a blogger, and is making money from a YouTube channel, too. And he just joined TikTok! John Stange knows his stuff and is worth listening to and learning from.
I’m a founding member of Platform Launchers, and I put my money where my mouth is. I’d love to have you be my guest and check out Platform Launchers for free. If you like it and want to stick around, please do. It’s just $50/mo.
Resources for entrepreneurs of all kinds
Dan Miller’s 48 Days Eagles group is an online community for entrepreneurs and for employees who are interested in career growth or a career change. Dan has one of the longest-running career newsletters and has been podcasting for many years, (probably since podcasting was born). This might give you an idea of how new podcasting was when he started recording his podcast. He licensed the song “Taking Care of Business” by Bachman Turner Overdrive for $300 because podcasting was so new that the copyright holder (Sony) didn’t know what it was.
Sony certainly had no idea of the potential of podcasting. My guess is if they did, they would have put a much larger price tag on the use of the song for podcast theme music.
Not to brag but to show you how much I believe in this resource, I’ve been a member of the 48 Days Eagles group since it began and have led courses on writing blog posts and books there multiple times. Just click any of the links that sound interesting if you want to find out more. The 48 Days Eagles open the doors just a few times a year, so join right away if it’s open. Otherwise, get on the waiting list. You’ll find hundreds of likeminded people inside, ready to help you. It’s only $48/mo to access these great resources for entrepreneurs.
