This page contains recommended books for authors, speakers, and more.
Every day, someone asks me a question about which books they should read. I’m going to list some here.
The links hook to my Amazon affiliate account. All that means is this: if you click on a link on my site and order something from Amazon, then Amazon might share a few of its pennies with me.
Please just click these Amazon links (the book images are links, too), and order the books you want. Doing so doesn’t cost you a thing, but it does send me a few pennies to spend on books. You do want me to have more books, right? Of course you do, because you’re a nice person, and you know that books are good things.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Nowhere to Call Home is one of the books I’ve read to my students and children. Set in the Great Depression, it’s a good one.
I will add more books to this page. If you have any favorites or other books to recommend, please email me the book title(s) and author(s) at Jennifer@harshmanservices.com and I will check them out. Thank you!
